Lenovo Thinkpad T61 is the best breed among any Lenovo’s laptops. Keyboard
Have you ever spill water on your laptop or heard the story that someone did that? With the new T61’s spill resistant keyboard you do not have to worry when someday this kind of accident happened to you. The secret lies in the special drain holes that channel liquids to the bottom of the laptop to minimize any damages.
Active Protection System
Lenovo/IBM must have realized that there are tons laptop’s accident cases that related to hard drive malfunction. The Active Protection System (APS) is a feature to solve just that. When you are moving around your laptop, the system can automatically detect the vibrations and adjust the hard drive’s head to a park position to prevent data loss.
Fingerprint Reader
Like any modern laptops nowadays, the T61 also equipped with fingerprint reader to make it easier for users to access their account. Users are able to store all of their password into the special security chip that can be easily retrieved by just swiping their fingers.
