Keyboard

With the new T61’s spill resistant keyboard you do not have to worry when someday this kind of accident happened to you. The secret lies in the special drain holes that channel liquids to the bottom of the laptop to minimize any damages.
Active Protection System
Lenovo/IBM must have realized that there are tons laptop’s accident cases that related to hard drive malfunction. The Active Protection System (APS) is a feature to solve just that. When you are moving around your laptop, the system can automatically detect the vibrations and adjust the hard drive’s head to a park position to prevent data loss.
Fingerprint Reader
