Things that you should look for when buying used laptops :
- Minimum specs
To determine this, you should look at the minimum requirements of the software that you used the most. - Battery life
Most used laptops come with old battery that can only stand for around an hour or less. Unless this laptop will be used primarily at your home, consider of buying a new battery. - Has it been dropped?
It is a very common thing for portable computers (including cellphones, laptops, etc) to at least has been accidentally dropped once by its former user. So go dig up some informations about this (ask the previous owner.) If he/she conclude or can guarantee you that there is nothing wrong after they drop it, then you should consider to buy it. - To good to be true
Use Google to find other laptops that are in the same specs as the one you're about to buy. If the laptop is extremely cheaper than the others, you probably want to raise some cautions.
